“Hair To Help” helps children and women who struggle to deal with social acceptance caused by changes in their physical appearance. Thank you for considering donating your hair to Hair To Help.

We gratefully accept hair donations from around the world!

The majority of all hair donated comes from Females who wish to help other children and women . Please see the step-by-step guide below to learn about donating your hair.

Information for Hair Donors:
1. We ask that hair be a minimum of 12” (tip to tip); however, longer lengths are appreciated.

2. Hair needs to be clean and thoroughly dry. Please bundle hair in a ponytail or braid before having it cut. Afterwards, please place the hair in a plastic bag.

3. Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails and then cut.

4. Hair may not be colored or chemically damaged (if unsure, consult your stylist).

5. You may pull curly hair straight to measure the length.

6. Hair to Help accepts hair from all ages.

7. Hair swept off the floor is not acceptable.

8. We are unable to use hair that was cut years ago.

9. PLEASE NOTE: Anyone may cut your hair as long as the  above guidelines are followed.
